As a country that subscribes the Paris Agreement, the Honduran Government assumed the commitment to adopt hybrid or electric transport modes with the aim of reducing the emission and therefore the global warming.
In that sense, the BCIE (Banco Centroamericano de Integración Económica) is working in Honduras to advance several strategies that allow access to resources from international funds, as well as to develop the enabling conditions (regulation, financial instruments) so that the transition towards sustainable mobility can take place.
The general objectives of this work aim to:
- Prepare the proposal using the SAP window, including all the required complements and annexes, by using the guidelines and references from the GCF
- Integrate the complementary studies which support the proposal into the components required by SAP
- Develop the technical elements associated with the GHG emissions modelling and with the identification of the technology for the project implementation
The consultancy will be done in close coordination and cooperation with the Government of Honduras and the BCIE staff.
