The International Climate Initiative (IKI) is accepting project outlines for it’s 2020 Thematic Programme. In line with “Creating Green Societies in challenging times”, the 13 new IKI funding priorities aim to offer support in managing the social and economic impacts of the coronavirus pandemic, while also demonstrating how climate change mitigation, adaptation and biodiversity conservation can contribute to sustainable economic reconstruction.
One thematic priority is on ‘support for national development banks – as a driver for investments in climate action, in particular in sustainable urban infrastructure’, which is related to the Alliance’s on-going work with national development banks. Depending on the priority, the funding amount per project can range from 5 to 30 million Euros. Outline submissions are being accepted until 10 March 2021.
